Found on the new BBC archive site, this old edition of the Great Egg Race with Heinz Wolff in which 3 x 2CVs are rapidly taken apart with not an angle grinder in sight and converted into electric chariots

Thanks for posting, Jon, I remember seeing this episode when I was a kid. It was like the precursor to Scrapheap Challenge. Even remember the chap in yellow wearing the funnel on his head.
