The last day of 2cv production had an RP/ORGA 5009, the last RHD 2cvs were 5007 ORGA numbers were introduced on the 9th November 1976 on A series models and on all Citroens in 1980 Sorry to be an anorac but I own a D*lly

Roger, welcome to the 'other' side. You have knowledge to end speculation.
My d'olly has not been repainted, is still on the original chassis, but does not have an ORGA number on the bulkhead.
It does have the colour codes, but look as I may, I can't find my ORGA.

Knightley Your RP number should be where the pictures in this thread show it. Around the demister inlet on the drivers(uk) side,some are above the paint codes, some below.If it's not there you've either had a respray or work has been done on the bonnet hinge and it's been oversprayed, or its just faded away, they were not stenciled on with much enthusiasm.The Chassis has nothing to do with it. If there's two letters and two numbers in a circle they tell you the model code and model year. Thankyou for your welcome but I've been here quite a while really, lurking can be so much fun!!

AM = Annee Modelle = Model year.. So yours is a 1990 model car

model years tend to start in the middle of the year instead of the first of januari
