Sunny? Yorkshire? Does not compute at present...

Hope it improves for the w/e, yesterday's torrential rain turned the street outside into a river for a while.
Pack wellies and brollies, that should help keep it at bay.

Post Re: My 2cv
Got back home from Salbris very early this morning and it's nice to report that the 2CV drove perfectly the whole time, an absolute pleasure to drive :D Met up with Squeezebox, Mrs Squeezebox and Phil.S of this parish on the ferry to Calais and after a little detour for them(they ended up going down the A26 instead of the A16  ;) ) we met again at a service area on the A28 south-west of Abbeville and continued the journey down through Normandy countryside to Chartres. On Tuesday we headed to Salbris and got in the queue at 12:30pm on the D121 about 6kms from the meeting site and sat around for nearly two hours before continuing the drive to Salbris and ending up in the holding field for 4hrs. We finally got on site at half six, quarter to seven and found Julian Ford who'd kept a space for us(cheers Jules). We took a drive out on Thursday to Saint Aignan sur Cher et Montrichard and left Salbris on Saturday morning to drive up through Champagne, ending up at Reims and continuing the journey to Calais yesterday and catching the 7:50pm ferry back to Blighty. I got home at 1:40am as I had to stop a few times due to falling asleep at the wheel   A big thank you to Squeeze, Mrs Squeeze and Phil for being so friendly, welcoming and crazy ;) Spent most of the time in stitches  One of the few downsides to the week was one of the party being the victim of theft :(

Glad to hear the Slag engine has behaved itself and made it to another world meeting that I've not been able to attend! :-)

Just picked up the 2CV from Peter Cross, dropped it in on Monday afternoon for an MOT yesterday, and it passed :)
