Yes, this is doable. The person who posted this (James I am sure it must have been) in fact requested a green output at his 13v to 15v setting. It?s entirely up to you how you want it however.

I have checked something with James regarding fitting this to his lens, and it is likely that any I supply to you will have the LED on short leads connected to the board, not directly connected to the board as it presently is.

Lead Lengths 300mm/LED 5mm/ Inline circuit board.

Mounting Bezel not required not required. ( I have an existing panel lamp bezel which is a snug fit for a 5mm LED)

This option allows the LED to fit a Standard 2CV lens cover/holder , the circuit board is protected with heat shrink, the leads ensure the board doesn't put any strain on the LED.

Just a thought on the 'trigger' voltages of this device.

Stock voltage regulators for A series vehicles are set to give 14.4 volts maximum, which also happens to be the voltage at which a standard lead acid battery will start 'gassing', so would 14.5 volts be a more suitable choice for when the led starts to show an overcharge?

why not just get what Pete told you? with the additional info that Ken gave .IE the warning light comes on at 14.5v which is when the battery starts to boil
