 Spudguns
Having read about making these on Retro-Rides, I had a bit of a go at work. Had to pop to B+Q for a few quids worth of plumbing fittings, but robbed the rest from the scrap bin. It's quite effective with just a small pressure inside, I only had the foot pump to test it, so got it to 90psi... ... when the footpump collapsed... Managed a few more pumps to get it to 100psi, found a suitable target... Top fun, ideal thing to make if you're bored one evening! Ideas on what I can do with the leftover? emmental flavour crisps?

Charlotte wrote: I don't get it. Is it a potato gun?! Yes it is. I shot myself in the face with it by accident, and it bloody hurt at point blank range, but so far I can only get about 150psi out of it because the compressor at wotk has a regulator on it that won't let me have all the pressure I want, so at the moment it'll only fire about 100 feet, hopefully we can rig the compressor up without a regulator and get something closer to 300psi, and hopefully, that'll go a fair bit further. I'm going to take it to registers day for some spud firing fun.

I shouldn't have laughed when I heard this, but I did!
