Well, thanks to "TooMany2cvs", I now have a very nice non-blistered steering wheel for the Ami. 8-)

Oh, and a couple of rear doors and some rearmost side windows too. Cheers mate, much appreciated. :D

Just need to find a bit of time to fit the steering wheel and fuel gauge now.......

Pleasure. They've gone from a lengthy slumber in the back of a lockup to somewhere that'll use 'em.

Oh, the joys (?) of a decent steering wheel and a working fuel gauge. :D

I also had a look through my pile of spares today and found that the spare dash I have has got absolutely perfect fresh air vents with the sealing foam still intact!!!! 8-)

That'll be one of the next jobs on the list then.

Just after the cambelt on the Discovery which is only about 6mm wide now and the service/cambelt on the BX. Doh, it necer ends!!

Hmmmm, not a lot to report on this little lovely-everything seems to be doing what it's supposed to do.......

That siad, after using it to go to Mallory Park Bank Holiday Monday for the racing, it did suffer from rather a lot of water ingress that I've had to dry out. I did this by lifting the mats and stapling them to the garage door to dry-they'll probably be doing this forever more!

Oh, I also finally got around to adjusting the headlamps up properly today and, ahem, converting them to right hand drive aim! ;)

Thought I'd update this as I've not done so for a while. There's a good reason for that really, I've had nothing to report.

Well, to be fair, I've still nothing to report but, as Registers is this weekend, I thought I'd remind people of its existence! ;)

We'll only be there on the Sunday as we'll be on "Le Shuttle" this time Friday. Mrs Spanners was told yesterday that her post had become permanent so we're treating ourselves (and the Ami) to a couple of days in France before Registers on Sunday.

I suppose it'll give me something to write about on the bollocks form they give you to put in your window!

I should warn you though, a trip out in the Ami means there'll be some piss poor photos coming up.......................

Oh yes, everybody that I'm taking parts to registers for, they're all together ready to go back in the boot so I won't forget them.

Hello from beautiful sunny France.

Had a great journey down here with no problems and 230 km to 13 litres of fuel when we topped up!

Off to get some sweets and stiff that I'm hoping to use for bribery purposes on Sunday!

See you in St Ives.
