 Re: Lost gems
I remember Animal. He turned up to a meeting somewhere in a beachcomber with no driver's door catch, all that held the door shut was the wind pressure. Why he didn't just take the doors off I don't know. He had a knackered Acad after that too, with a broken chassis. He wasn't actually a bad bloke, just a bit ... smelly. I gave him my old trials Dyane, YRX 808T, which I imagine is no longer troubling the DVLA.

Oh, and Brian Dark, Tarquin and I spent about six months saying "wanna smell my faaaangers?" and giggling like teenage girls whenever he hove into view. No wonder he had behavioral issues.

 Re: Lost gems
Wish I had still got all my old ones....CRJ 517T Green 2CV6 Club - my first "brand" new car - long gone to a scrap yard when my brother in law sold it to someone who then went through a wall in it, AWG 580T - blue RHD ex Jersey aks400, was in immaculate condition when we swopped it for the following with a guy from Somerset, CGF 648S - super quick Red Dyane that we chopped in for C629 CEC - lovely red Special that we sold to a girl from Preston when we bought a new Metro in 1990 - for fecks sake, what was I thinking........

It must have been late 1996, early 1997 too so he didn't get much use out of it ... although thinking about it, he's probably still driving it around without VED.

 Re: Lost gems
Animal - he was a cleaner at Bernard Matthews turkey plant . . . last time I saw him was in a C15, pissed, driving round an Easter camp (nr Whitby). Spun off the grass and hit a tree . . .
