 Re: Voltage regulator check?
I could take the one off the D*lly but i don't want to risk frying it... plus she is 10 miles away. I am referring to Jeremy BTW. I know i can drive about 4 hours without charge but it would be nice if he charged as he did before Czech.
Joolz, is that the exciter you refer to?
as far as i know, i have the built in regulator on the GSA alternator and the one in the 2cv loom. they shouldnt fight but one will over ride the other providing they both work. Andre Morise made it all work to start with but now its failed... maybe too many tunes at too much current draw? who know... sounded mint though! lol.
Thanks
Tim

The lower one will "rule". If one's having a sulk open, no charge. But you'll never overcharge... Quote: Andre Morise made it all work to start with but now...

 Re: Voltage regulator check?
Yeah, the exciter wire, I wasn't allowing for you having 2 regulators. Where's the advantage in having 2 opportunities for reg failure, . What I said about power on that wire should still be true though. Although won't tell you about any failure of the internal reg.
