Post to sell or not to sell
Hi all thoughts please. Due to increase of family is it still practical to keep the acadiane. I do have the means to fit a rear seat of some sort and also a tipping front seat that the mixtes had fitted. But it will quite difficult to fit Alyssa in the back. It hasnt been on the road since the cz wm and i cant se when it get used again. However I wont find 1 this good again either so im in a bit of a dilema add the fact that the sale of the van could solve a debt or 2 then it maybe makes sense, but then i love driving it when i do get it on the road . Next problem is whats it worth? Those that know the van will know how much effort went in to it 2 years ago engine bay clean and paint also full double bed, gsa alloys, air horns, ply lined and covered in material inside, 6 speaker stereo, tow bar and electrics and yellow head light bulbs. if you want pics go to face book requset me simon sobey and i add you there are loads on there of the van. Comments please as i really dont know wheather to sell it or not If I were to sell Id be asking 5k upwards is this realistic

you only live once, keep it, enjoy it, and spend a bit more time in debt

or sell it, regret it, but be debt free

id go for debt any day tbh.... like you said you probablywont find one this good..

Do you know how much babies are worth these days, Tarquin? That could be solve both problems in a few ebay clicks..! ;)

Seriously, *if* you can afford to hang on to it, I'd say do that. Things like that almost always seem to cost more to replace 5 years down the line than they netted you in the first place.

Assuming you keep it, would it make sense just to put one seat in the back for now? You might find strapping Alyssa in easier if you put the seat closer to the middle or something, or maybe even at the back so you can put her in that way? Either way, I'm sure you can make it practical for you all, so I guess as usual it really comes down to the cash, and that's up to you! Well, up to Sarah ;) Maybe a good assett to hang on to for a rainy day though?

He's got a Picasso...

Tarqs - are you ALWAYS going to be going everywhere as a family? Surely you'll still be allowed to have weekends camping with the boys every now and then?

Keep it!

Sure we had 3 of us in our old van (maybe 2 but still) and we always get told the story of when Mum, Dad, Steve, Ellie, Harry, Me and Max went on holiday to France in the van.

If its worth a few grand to you then its worth more than money in the bank these days, if you keep it well and can pay off debts some other way bit by bit, once it's gone its gone..
On the other hand if you think you could get that for it and aren't that attached you could always flog it ,pay off some debts and buy a cheap (if thats still possible) 2cv or Dyane out of the change :P
