That's pretty. I think DA will like that colour. Similar to VW Beryl green.

Just seen this thread - and worked through all the English lessons - and have to say O-N couldn't be much more righter; that's a wonderful shade.

Any idea what it's called, Josh? Or what its paint code is under t'bonnet?

Thanks :D

And, while the answers are coming flooding through, what shade of Gris is used on the bumpers & wheels? It looks a lot darker than the 'modern' shade.

If he can't find it DA then VW Beryl green is a ringer. I think the bumper grey looks cooler due to the photo it's probably standard gris rose in reality. There is a RAL colour of grey that matches that 'bluer' look though. The RAL colour is 7040 known as 'Window grey'.

Cheers, O-N - very useful stuff again.

I know I shouldn't read too much into a single photo - knowing how the same colour can appear quite different when taken at different times, equipment, etc - but that photo of the 2CV is just perfect.. I'm sure the VeeDub colour is a perfect ringer as you say, but in the photo above it looks more limey, more yellow, and has lost some of the creaminess. I guess I'd need to see them in the flesh to know how close they really are.

You used the VW Beril on your car, didn't you? Have to say, it looks spot-on on yours - as creamy as one could wish...

Thanks for the heads up on the RAL colour for the bumpers - I think I would prefer a darker, greyer shade on such a light body colour.

Hmmmmmmm. Cheers :D
