Quiz question:
- Someone I know recently drove a vehicle from Dubai to Blighty. Given that the price of petrol is at an all time high, what was the LOWEST price that he paid for petrol during his journey?

Is that the same question as 'in which country' did he pay the lowest?

Do you shake the fuel pump nozzle when you're done like having a pee? Those last few drops are valuable these days. :|

Here in the Netherlands ( Not Holland) there is 70% Tax and VAT on petrol .
And still they don't have enough. Now they are cutting down on the Army. 12.000 people made redundend !
I think I 'll train my car that it will run on 1/2 petrol and 1/2 water

i do shake it, although i find the last drops go on the filler neck which renders it useless, i also click the nozzle before the pump switches on incase it gives a squirt before registering ;)

According to the list of countries on this website http://www.whatprice.co.uk/petrol-prices/global-petrol-prices.html the UK is second only to Uruguay for the price of petrol.

I am not sure about the data though, round here unleaded is £1.30 litre which converts to about $2.10 per litre.
