Re: Dipstick Seal. ah Louis, now that's a different issue if it's coming out around the base of the dipstick tube, You could try 'twatting' it, or if you can get it really clean, maybe some epoxy/loctite/silicon gasket around the base would seal it.

Re: Dipstick Seal. I've been told not to duck around doing stuff like that by an old racer who had it a few times, just to change it because it'll just get worse, are 435 dipstick tubes the same or do I have to attack a 602?

Re: Dipstick Seal. I think my money's probably on it being broken, tbh. I've them loose enough in the block that they can be turned quite easily by hand, and no leaks. On the other hand, if you take it out and it appears to be fine, I'd stick it back in possibly with a bit of (bearing?) loctite (or the knock-off stuff I've got - titeloc!).
