i do agree... however the 1 thing i like about that bonnet... however "new" it looks for a ripple bonnet.. is the fact you can lock it like you would you bootlid because of the handle at the front, although i suppose you'd have to fabricate some sort of catch for that to actually latch and lock! rather than the sprung catch!

The one thing I like about that bonnet is the fact that it's nowhere near me! Why would anybody want to raplace a perfectly good 5 rib bonnet with an utterly disproportionate eyesore as that? Besides, I've managed to fit genuine ripple bonnets to later cars before....
