 Re: '88 red spesh
I like the flag idea - that should set you apart from the other red specials!

i love the bonnet also!!
you should have 10mm fre play when you put your foot on clutch (ie when you start to depress the clutch, the first 10mm should be no resistence)

 Re: '88 red spesh
Not done 'owt interesting at all really but thought I'd update. I've been busy doing ridiculous things instead of things I should be. Anyways it now looks like this: Splitter, spot lights and just added some clear indicators as I think they look better, the way it looks now. Also binned off the yellow bulbs as I'm not trying to make it look like an AZAM anymore tbh think all I'll do now is lower it a touch to make it not look silly with that splitter, and make it loud . Oh and fingers crossed there won't be any L plates on it after the 26th

It's really nice to see a car on Michelins. They look much nicer like that.

 Re: '88 red spesh
You're absolutely right there Russ, I love the tread pattern and look of the Michelin X, I just wish they last a lot longer than they do. I have 135 ZXs on my car, but would happily fit 125 Xs if they lasted as long as the 135s. 6:02pm

The best thing that came off the charleston... Don't really know why you'd deliberately buy anything else... I do know that you can do some awesome wheel spinning with them

 Re: '88 red spesh
Ah well it passed the MOT today... For the last 6 years since it was bought there's been a kingpin advisory... After taking it to a proper 2cv mechanic for the first time for MOT turned out the kingpin had somehow been bodged quite badly when it was "restored" with a screw or something? Don't know the first thing about kingpins but sounded like it needed a bit of sorting out

The "bodge" I was talking about; this is it: Spot the bit that shouldn't be there.
