 Importing a car from Spain
Anyone imported a car from Spain is it easy?

Assuming it's over 10yo, you'll need to hand in or post to your local DVLA office :- MOT & insurance (both on the VIN); £55 plus the cost of the tax; V55/5 form; foreign paperwork. Then wait a week or so, and you'll get the tax disc & a certificate of entitlement to the reg (which allows you to get plates made), then a V5C will roll up in a week or three. If it's newer, then you'll need the EU Certificate of Conformity or an IVA (what used to be SVA) test.

thanks tm2 its older the 10 years so all being well  I have 53 x 40 foot containers coming out to me over the next few weeks, I am sure I can get the car back in one of those
