Its nice to see the responses at this early stage - the weird thing is I am really looking forward to this already. As Jon said this is a team event - everybody has a role within.

Max I am sure we can sort something out.

Im still unsure on this one. I might have to sit it out. I really need to save my pennies. I may be swayed though. Afterall Simon could swing by mine if he went the long way round.

Aren't you in Cheltenham? That's not far out of my way if it's any help.

Being part of the team was really rewarding, and I'd say my favourite 2CV based weekend of the year. I'd love to be part of the team again, but I'm torn between this and the (Inter)national. Just can't make up my mind.

come on rumble! i'll be going! we can keep the same refuelling teams as last year!

The answer would be to have the international at Snetterton, but as we've discussed before the venue is unlikely to be popular with the majority. It would be 'kin awesome to have a 2cv festival at the 24hr instead of an International one year.

Hmm... maybe next year could be the year to test it out? 2CVGB isn't having a National because of ICCCR, but at the AGM there seemed to be popular support for an alternative *non-competing* smaller event on a different weekend, instead of a National, for those that didn't want to do ICCCR.

[Edit: Sheesh! When did I start calling it a 'National'?!? ]
