However I have never seen a very successful grafting of a 2CV front onto an Acadiane. The bit in front of the doors always lets it down.

I don't think it's the looks of the 2cv it benefits from, as it looks (like they all seem to) like somebody cobbed a 2cv front onto an Acad. It's the ease of geting the front off that is the real bonus of doing this.
