Ok, I have kind of failed on getting the 45mm socket i need to take off the rear bearing. Anyone out there near Cheltenham who has one going spare for the weekend? Need to get it off and changed this weekend ideally to save me paying for another MOT.

:) thanks.

Cheers Gaz. Allsorted. To be honest i think i could have undone it with my hand. :?

Sorted out the crossbox too. Which i dont has been removed in forever. Down side to having two cars is you can pikey the good stuff of it. So the van is currently lieing wounded with 2 less wheels, 3 less exhaust clamps and its heart removed (battery.)

It seems to be ideling ok now also. It was revving the nuts off it even with the choke off. Would the holes in the crossbox have affected this?

Think it should be all good now for tommorow retest.

Passed.

Its still revving the nuts off it.

Also I have a new problem, it feels like its riding on the clutch for ages almost as though my foots half down still on the pedal. Its a new clutch not too old anyway. Any ideas?
