Take a good look here it is, I never understood why you got to have an extra lever for me this is a good solution, lengtening the middle bar..
and it is already in the place where it should be going to the front....

there's a linking rod going to a lever in the front of the car
engaging/disengaging 3.gear like everybody does.......

bad news mate
i think the gear wheels u have are a batch that were made / welded up from old gear wheels.
i have seen this before, broken teeth.( several times)
As far as i am aware there was a whole batch that could have been faulty.

solution give Pierre Focent or Thierry Gaudin a ring in Belgium
they did have New made reduction gears similar to what u have.

working well!!!!
tested several times Produced in Belgium!!

Thanks for the update. Marc Voisin shipped me new which I fitted. Where Marc got them from, I do not know but I trust Marc. Things should be sweet again
