"New vehicles will also be required to have an onboard tyre pressure monitoring system and we are not yet aware if this may generate problems with non standard wheel and tyre fitment."

As fitted to my C4, and yes like many things Citroen, they don't work. What's wrong with checking your tyres with a pressure gauge?

Oh that is a problem for me

i love the smell of a stack of freshly delivered tyres

tyre pressure monitoring system by Citroen....egress vehicle, kick tyre, gallic shrug return to vehicle, spark up a Galoise. If eurocrats go too far ...man the barricades!

So there were some new environmental regs introduced a year ago, primarily affecting imports from the US and Far East... Oh, and some changes to new car requirements...

Sounds like the biggest difference will be that it might get shot of some of the off-brand teflon cheap-cheap rubbish. Oh, dear. What a pity. My heart bleeds.
