No please Luke, I'm not saying it does pose a problem and I might be wrong in assuming RT does have an A series but if he does, why go in something else?

<cough> Are you suggesting I'll be unwelcome, Bertie?

You're just trying to wind me up now!! I'm not saying anything of the sort. Who is anyone to say who's welcome and who's not? (apart from you of course seeing you're the old git)

Well, just wondering - if A-series owners somehow should make an effort to turn up in non-A-series...

If there's going to be some green laning, maybe I should bring the Fourtrak.

Doesn't that go against the whole idea of a A series Citroen club meet though?

Oh, I wouldn't arrive in the Fourtrak if the Ami was working, green laning or not. But if you're going to be forced to turn up in a non A series 4x4, a camp in Derbyshire (which has loads of green lanes) seems as good a one as any.

Oh well, I'll be rolling up on a train. How rad is that? Need to pass my test asap.

It's a camp for 2CV friends. The cars won't care. Last year I was in the Xantia, before that the AX. Tent, field, wind, rain, pub, mates. Sorted. And a fiver a night per unit, whatever that unit is. So if you've got transport, come one, come all.

I've not sorted out any greenlaning - but can lend folk OS maps and point you in the right direction.

If you arrive late on Friday, just pitch up and follow your nose to the pub.

Blond nutter... its here.

Approx 20 minutes from J28 or J29 M1.

There's no problem with turning up in a non-A Series to a Firkin Flyers camp - hardly any of the Firkins drive a 2cv anyway!!

Very true Jono. Wonder if we'll have an A-series majority?

I'm likely to be in the BX due to the fact that the 2CV's heater is both horribly fumey and pathetic (I've taken one of the heater tubes off) and the fact that if it's going to rain, the BX does a better job of keeping us and our bedding dry on the journey!

Knowing how disorganised me and the wife are, we'll probably not get to the pub until its dark, so chuck the tent up, head to pub, back to tent, get up and drive home!
