 Re: 1979 Dyane
Hi George, nice work there. It certainly makes a big difference having those 'grubby bits' somewhat less grubby... ken Btw, because you haven't got any cooling shrouds on the discs, it might be an idea to make that undertray shorter than the original version.

 Re: 1979 Dyane
well thought id update this as haven't for awhile, i know my Dyane isn't a head turner but some people like my car recently its been getting less and less attention as my brothers minis are breaking down 24/7. until recently it broke down would not start first of all iv given the Dyane a good scrub as after all the grit and mushy snow its filthy after we began stripping the dyane down to change the points, oil and clean the carb, as it wasn't running dreadful. cough, stalling. but we ended up finding out it was the coil and HT leads that where causing all the poor running Fitted a Christmas present i got from my brother too, should be handy for salbris this year also temporally repaired my roof with the thanks to my dads amazing skills of fixing anything with no money well next big job is to fix the rusty windscreen surround, which my dad plans to make him self with are half ton fly press and free supply of metal

 Re: 1979 Dyane
I was looking at my drive shafts today, and they're horizontal from the wheel to the gearbox (as ate yours I imagine george). Surely that's better than having them at an angle?! Personally I prefer a raked look (nose down/tail up)

 Re: 1979 Dyane
due to an arss twitching moment on the M1 at 80mph (while in the fast lane) when the bonnet tried to pop open , the dyane is now featuring a strap on the bonnet to secure it down thanks to Sam. Also stopped in oxford, which HATES the car as i found out, to do some sight seeing. just managed to squeeze into this spot
