The very fact that he refers to the car as "her" and "she" throughout puts me off. It's an "it".

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
hahaha actually loving all the little extra additions to the original listing.... someones obviously very car proud... wasnt that a 2cv city job? could have atleast changed the interior to match, i do understand you guys talking about shoddy "restorations" yeah the shell and panels are all probably very sound and rust free but its still got its bog standard special interior... with the addition of a CHROME TAX DISC HOLDER WOOOOOOOOOO im jumping up n down with excitement here....

Especially with the possible "restorer" taken into account.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
One day we'll find a reasonably priced half decent 2cv that we like for sale.
(dyane bumpers belong on dyanes.)

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Hmmmmm, nearlly all these really expensive 2CVs on Ebay seem to be missing their dump tubes. Why? It's not like they really form a particularly expensive part of a "high" quality (ahem) restoration! Also, I'm not terribly sure I'd be making a point of shouting that it has a full set of Firestones-why not just say "She has a full set of tyres fitted which allow you to experience understeer at its greatest, total discomfort from the hardest sidewalls since before pneumatic tyres were invented and noise levels normally reserved for high floatation tyres on long wheel base Land Rovers"! Oh, it's also a shame that the decals weren't carried on to the wing infill/valence panels. I'd also be quite interested to take a closer look at the rear lamp panel too...... Other than that, it's just plain bloody tacky!
