I just love it, there is no silly pipe sticking out the back so the whole rear end is more pretty/tidy. The side exit looks cool and when there is smoke I just love it coming out the side of the car. I like it so much I even toyed with the idea of one either side, but that would probably be going too far!

Long pipe gives you a more raspy sound.

yeah Justin.... i wouldnt be going with twin sidepipes... not a nice sound at all... well you may like it if you want droany/burble coming into the car! sidepipe without the silencer (just abit of pipe instead) is probably one of the best sounds you can get with a crossbox! not too loud/droany and theres a little rasp there too! especially when you let off from the high revs!

but add a tailpipe to the straightpipe down the side and theres a very different story!

James, Justin, if there's smoke coming out of your exhausts then you have more to worry about than a £4 bit of pipe.

when you say smoke? do you mean like huge clouds of black/blue cant really see through it? kinda stuff? or do you just mean the puffs of moisure/condensation which does look like smoke but its actually not smoke, just the vapours in the cold!

Back to trims; Ecas are perfect fit for strait pipes made for the pipe size, although they are deflectors, and quality made but they are top money, other aftermarket ones, like found in 'millautos' for example, might look good for a year and be 'strait' but often rust quickly and fitment is poor...simple screw isnt what i call call secure.
