Post Dull headlight
For some reason one headlight is doing the being really dull thing, I've heard that it is usually an earthing problem? Does anyone have any ideas where I should start looking? I have taken the lens cap off and looked at the wiring but there is nothing obvious.
Thanks for any help.
Justin

Try giving the connectors under the head lamp bar a clean.

also, check the connectors in the loom that goes down the side of the fan cowling, there was a dodgy earth connection there when mine did this.

Also, check the bulb itself, I had this today and thought it was an earth problem, but it turned out the bulb itself had gone completely silver inside although both main and dipped filaments were still working and dimly visible through the 'chromed' bulb. Don't think I've seen one of those before, wierd.

That tends to happen with rear-light bulbs, but I've not seen it on headlamp bulbs.
