 Tool Kit
As I delve into the box of bits I got with Alphonse I'm finding all sorts of interesting things.
Like this kit of tools. A plug spanner, several open enders and a clamp for vulcanising type tyre patches.
There are no markings on any of the spanners, and the whole lot was in a rather manky old canvas bag. Haven't measured sizes yet.
I was wondering, did the Slough cars in the 1950's have a tool kit at all? Does anyone know what they looked like? In other words, is this one?
Remembering that this is also an export car "for the Colonies" perhaps it was sourced locally?
The spanners are sort of "low rent" as I'd expect in keeping with the cheap/light car type.
Cheers, Pottsy
