 Sad news about Bill I'm sorry to have to tell you all that Brian 'Bill' Bailey from the Firkin Flyers passed away on Friday. He had been back in hospital recently but died at home on Friday night. His wife Mary is in a home at the moment as Bill wasn't able to look after her.
The funeral will be at 10.40am on Wednesday 22nd December in the main chapel of Markeaton Cemetary, Derbyshire. Mary has requested no flowers but instead donations to the Neurology Department at the DRI (Derby Royal Infirmary).
Our thoughts are with Mary and his family,

Re: Sad news about Bill That is really sad news. He was such a nice bloke and always had a smile. He took such great care and time with Mary too. She will be lost without him.

Re: Sad news about Bill A lovely couple that made the build up week for the World Meeting such a joy. Another character lost and as you say 602, always a smile. Sad day
