I thought about the idea when helping my old man build the bimotor jeep recently, as you can control the rear end throttle etc separately to the front, technically knock the front engine off and run it from the rear... All 2cvs can be rear wheel drive by selecting the 'reverse' gear in the gearbox and using that to get around.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
As I have a Sahara,I can make a rearwheeldrift only with the backengine, but it is far more spectaculaire with both engine running and 0.7 bar tyrepressure whhich is the standard tyre pressure with 165*400 tyres........ Freightend my passengers many times doing a drift with the rear wheels because they don't expect it from a 2 2cv....

Even more of a bonus, you've then got a rear engined car, so you can really throw the arse around

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I wouldn't call a rear engined car a bonus! I can only think of one that's not a total pig and that's because it's only got 20bhp.

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I only meant in terms of throwing arse end around. None other reason Would that 20hp be a 425 sahara??

No. Without going totally off track again, I was thinking Fiat 500. If you purely want to go sideways (and who could blame you) buy an Escort. There's nothing better.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyway. Maybe somebody's seen some 2cvs for sale on eBay or something?

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Them 2cv buyers are so fussy! I've told them it's got rear belts - what more do they need to know?
