 Re: The O/T thread! I love that quote too  No harm at all in the grammar/spelling police being out in force, imo. I'd hope that any peeps pulled up for a mistake would take it in good spirit - and try not to let the same mistake happen again.  There's a terrific lady on the Screwfix forum (I know, I know...) who is just the wittiest person I've ever come across (ooh-er, missus) and who is not just extremely knowledgeable in her field (electrician...) but also has a grasp of grammar that leaves me breathless. Or quite annoyed when I'm the target.

Re: The O/T thread! I know. I took a look around the site and I must confess that I like anything old, 1930's to 1950's glamour, sharp suits, flash cars, the whole thing. The guys on there seem to like the [i]dressing up[/i] part of it though, which is where the alarm bells started ringing.
