 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Yes indeed. That is the Hollyoaks van. I had a look round it when we filmed Hollyoaks Freshers, back in June. Although it's a conversion, it seemed reasonable to me.
Weirdly, I finally got around to watching us on Hollyoaks Freshers this evening (see YouTube - that van, me in my Mehari, my blue 2cv, and Kim (now Max) Page's orange 2cv are on very briefly at the start of episode 3) - then I checked eBay and saw the van!

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
I remember seeing it in jonos pics of the shoot. Is it plastic, and is it based loosely on the look of a dak?

Alex Hosford who built this also built John Stenhouse's 'Git' sidewinder Acadiane - he (John) bumped into Alex at last years International & IIRC, Alex mentioned that he'd used Volkswagen Transporter pick-up bed panels for the van side panels! I'm guessing something similar has occured here...

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
It's a funny thing though this bubble isn't it? What would we agree was a fair price for a good clean 2cv these days? Are they even worth more than the sum of their parts?
