 Re: Yet another red spesh...
Thank's Louise. I'm sorry if I came across as a raging homosexual by admitting I was quite emotionally attatched to a car. If it makes me seem any less gay I made a log burner at work and it took us an hour or so to put it out. That's using an axe to chop wood and setting fire to things, not gay at all. Yeah?

 Re: Yet another red spesh...
Do you need to sell it now? How much money can you spend on a Trabant? And you should be proud of it. You seem to have a knack of creating nice, subtly customised motors out of rattly old sheds, and making them your own. Which is cool.

You should keep it!
I don't like red 2cv's either. but this one has a really cool look. It's the whole package of the car, the lowness, the white parts, the wider wheels that make this car a great car!

No I mean it! It's the smartest looking 2cv of EVAH!

Thanks guys. It's wierd how much love it gets. It's just a relatively stock red 2cv. I never really planned it to turn out like it did either, I was WELL up for painting it in fluoro colours and making a right dog out of it. Question is what's next? A Trabi is something I've wanted for ages, and could really do with for the winter, but after Spa I'm wondering whther a ropey old pre66 2CV or van would be more fun? I need to find another set of these rims though. I've never seen them on a 2cv before, and can't believe they aren't more popular.
