Thanks mate for the offer. I think I'll let it go, can't bet on it + it is a long way away from you.
Cheers

I can easily get it via snail delivery - but not for a couple of months. One of the other CCC committee guys lives in the same town.

That shouldn't be a problem - Bill's in the same town as the seller, then it can get to me at the next committee meeting, then up to Jon at some stage. If there's no rush.

What you be bloody good mate. Please go for it and let me know when and how to pay you.

Thanks heaps

PS. I think Spanners are heading my way in 4 weeks. If the bumper bar doesn't reach him before his departure please hold on to it, maybe get it to the WM.

Thanks again. Image

What do people think of the "tube-bumper" sold by ECAS?

Built by Louis Barbour, and the same as the ones on his 4x4s, apart from the indicator hoops (which I don't particularly like, cosmetically). It's very, very solid. A bit heavy, p'raps, but ROCK solid.

A friend of ours, with one of those on his Charleston, hit a big 4x4. The bumper bent a couple of inches.

<grin> If it'd been an original, rather than a galvo, probably... Seen the latest pic on Etienne's Super2cv blog?
