Have you tried sleeping in those? And they don't block out subsonics which you feel as much as hear.

I'm just listening to my music, not demonstrating anything.

Just got a cheap £10 cassette radio which conveniently has a aux jack on to plug my ipod in with a set of argos' cheapest car speakers given to me by a friend inlaid into a pice of chipboard and cabletied to the middle pillar of the back seat. Sounds good considering I actually only spent a tenner :D

Try one of these: Image

It's great to sleep with, and you will probably not mind subsonics at all, when you eventually feel it's time for some pillow duty.

Post Re: Sounds+Six-0-Twos
In my daily driver 2CV I wanted better sound, but was not willing to sacrifice any space behind the front seats. So wantet it as compact as possible, but it also wantet a sub.
Placing the sub under the front seat was also not a solution, as I slide the seats back and forth every night when on a trip, cause I'm sleeping in the car. I just didnt want the sub under there.

Solution was making speakerboxes, fittet with 10cm speakers, that fit on each side in the "shelf" in front. Under the shelf I mounted the headunit to the left and the active sub on the right. Everything's out of the way for campingtrips, transporting stuff and so on. Not quite up to entertaining loudly outside the car, but really nice for "in car entertainment". Sounds great and are compact and "out of the way".

The active sub, obviously not mounted in the car yet on the photo:

I haven't got a radio in my 2CV, I dare not fit one as I don't tend to keep cars too long.

I could do with a sub though as the damn car fills with water at the merest hint of rain!!
