Yes, there are.

When the M28 first came out, it had no filter at all for a year or two - like earlier engines - then gained an internal non-serviceable filter, before they came to their senses.

Errr,
M28/1 was before M28, October 1968 for the former and February 1970 for the latter. :lol:

A79/1 engine numbers start with 045...

I was thinking of "M28" including "M28/1" in a general "Normal rather than oldie" kinda-sense...

But, thinking about it, doesn't it seem odd to have the "/1" revision before the "vanilla"?

According to the reg document,chassis no.18ak4854. engine no. is just numbers.
Will have a look torrow and try to get some photos of engine etc.
