No front suspension or springs, but four rear springs, one of which was in tension, the other three in compression. Solid mounted cans, cut and shortened front tie rods, cut and lengthened rear tie rods, knife edges made interference fit by a machined bit of ally inserted into the shackles. I'm hoping that somebody has photos of it, it was quality.

Post Re: Snetterton 24 Hour
it was the double spring, someone had cut the ends off 2 rear springs then wound them together to make a double wire, single helix this was randomly welded and loose in the can , the front spring cup and the rear spring cup were welded into either end of a spring so in essance it was working in tension

the front was so stiff most of the spriging was the tie rod stretching before it broke, the rear had very little springing

the knife edges made into something solid as Russ said , done with no understanding of how the knife edges work or the forces involved
no pictures on the phone
