 Re: Yet another red spesh...
When you look at those two pictures it does seem to have come on nicely.
Nothing to report much, the clips Rythym Thief kindly sent me arrived and so the A panel is attatched, I took the roll cage out to prime and paint it, and a few other minor jobs. Today is my last day at work so next week once I've collected the rest of the missing parts from spanners and ecas, I'm intending on spending Monday afternoon doing all those minor odd jobs, then taking it for it's mot Tuesday.

 Re: Yet another red spesh...
Looks very good Russ! With the orange chassis you probably wouldn't even need a bumper or spoiler. Cheers, Bart

Bart wrote: Looks very good Russ! With the orange chassis you probably wouldn't even need a bumper or spoiler. Cheers, Bart I really hate the orange chassis! Spanners gave me a spoiler yesterday so I will paint it white and hide that damn orange chassis. It was meant to be going on my orange/blue 2cv cross car, but along with a lot of other parts, I had to use them on this. I don't think orange/red really works. With any luck, all the parts are either at my house or on thier way, Spanners kindly gave me a battery clamp, spoiler and fuel cap yesterday, I ordered an indicator unit from ECAS and a foglight from eBay. Tuesday will be MOT day I hope! If it passes it'll be getting a baptism of fire with a 12hr round trip to the north next week, then another 12hr round trip to the west country and then to Snetterton the weekend after. If it passes...

 Re: Yet another red spesh...
Well it still isn't finished, there was a mix up with the indicator and I ended up with one the wrong side, Roy very kindly offered to ship one out today before he'd recieved the other one back (even though it wasn't really his fault), so I hope that will be here tomorrow. That's the last bit of the car to be fitted though, although I still need to paint the sills too, I can't decide whether to do them red or white. What are your thoughts? I booked the MOT for 3pm tomorrow, then, within seconds of getting off the phone, a company I applied for a job with rang and asked if I could go for an interview tomorrow. I'm currently without work through choice, and had intended to spend a month off working on 2cvs, moving into the birds house and generally drinking myself to an earlier grave, and I'd have probably turned it down had it not been for a job I really would quite like. That means this thing will most likely get it's MoT on monday now, after the weekend, when I'll be away anyway. the end is certainly in sight though, which is nice.

I'm with Max. Red sills.
Looks ace, Russ. I'm getting the urge to de-bumper and lower my white special now!
