 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
"Where are they now?" dept. The actual Blue 2cv that was used in the opening credits of the antiques road show as recently as 2003 has surfaced. Remember this? How did it get to this in so few years? Michael Aspel would be turning in his grave if he were dead. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1985-CITROEN-2-CV6-SPECIAL-BLUE-/300446922385?cmd=ViewItem&pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item45f4083691Edit: Wonder why the wipers park t'other way now? Hmmm...

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Just sent this guy a message via Ebay, totally unconected to the doors but, this is what it says; "Just out of curiosity, how early are these early vans you have and, are they beyond salvage? Maybe I'm scepical but surely some of the stuff you "recycle" could actually be put back on the road rather than just broken? Or, is it your aim to just make stuff even rarer so you can ask more for your parts? Oh, and for what it's worth, I've salvaged plenty of total basket case 2cvs so I have quite literally put my money wher my mouth is plenty of times!" Will i get a bollocking from Ebay? Will the guy bother replying? Maybe I shouldn't have sent it but he seems to break more 2CVs than the rest of us own!

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
nice one spanners! If those Charleston doors are as rust free as he claims, it makes you wonder what the rest of the car was like. I see he's got a rough old looking bonnet on there for £65!
