As my electrical understanding is obviously not upto a complete new dashboard layout, I made the standard dash longer to fot the ignition switch, then put the new speedo into it after it'd been powder coated.

Just thrashed it round the block. Got a few jobs left, fet the plates, fit the seat and sort out the front indicators, but it's not far off an MOT. Dad kindly wired the dashboard up today, while I bolted everything else onto it. It's set at super 4x4 tractor ploughing hieght as dads going to mot it and he had some 'reservations' about driving a car that was 20mm off the floor. It'll be low as soon as it's got a ticket.
