I'm yet to be convinced either way. Louis, fancy doing some photoshops? Try some white compomotives on your car.

some people have too much time. Shouldn't you be getting yourself a bird or something Louis?
hub adaptors have been very expensive from any source i have come across (upwards of £100 each depending on exchange rate). Not a difficult thing to make if someone could be arsed to do a cad program for it and there was a big enough order. Fair amount of material required as well. Been used on the Belgian race cars for quite a while and not had any unusual wheel bearing failures etc and the are subject to a lot of load. Each to there own i guess, the wrong style can make or break a car (any car for that matter).
As far as i remember 175x55x15 will go on 2cv rims under standard wings no problems on a saloon. 185x50x15 is a wee bit too tight.

Me too. Alloys would look crap on a 2CV (in my opinion, as ever). Like Land Rovers, they're just not designed for alloys; they're supposed to be a utility vehicle.

:P to you all, I like that up there^^^^. I think alloys can look ok a 2cv, although I'm yet to see a style that I think is perfect.
Planning a trip Louis? that's a damn big boot box you got on your car. And ignore Pete, photoshopping is a far healthier pursuit than chasing the opposite sex, and I suspect infinitely easier to understand.

was just a thought... :P im definately going with slots! i've wanted them for a while, and this is the only month i have untill october to piss off money on pops! need a new sports air filter, redirect the breather, sort out the paint, new roof, new exhaust and some shiny new wheels to set her off!

i agree with all of you, alloys in pretty much all cases, don't suit 2cv's, its like seeing an old car... with something new and shiny and modern, just doesn't quite fit the picture! i'm going with slots, pretty near original but they look better :)
