Quote: I also fitted NOS TYRES, ESSO brand from the 70's they look great. Is that a good idea? or is it ok if they've been kept in the right conditions?

 Re: Leboncoin/eBay finds
Has anyone ever stuck one in the back of a tail lift van? I know that I did that with a bodyshell but I've never done it with a complete car. I like that car I must say, Viking's right the colour appeals. It's got me thinking, but then you always come up against the fact that it would cost you more to get home than it would to buy a similar condition one here assuming they are out there. I seem to remember a 602'd ripple in that exact colour for sale in the club mag not long ago for £1700.

I'm sure Mark with the yellow Barber 4x4 has carted his 2cv around in the back of a Mercedes Sprinter(or maybe an earlier van. 308? )
