They've attacked a little girl down the road & are very aggressive. I've been dive bombed on a number of occasions in the garden. They rip open bin bags, even topple over dustbins to get to the contents. They start scritching at 4am during the summer - it's unbearable. I believe they're protected & the only way to cull them is to destroy their nest/eggs. Once they've started nesting & reproducing in an area, they will return year on year to the same spot for up to 20 years.
