I find they don't drive properly until you remove all the bump stops.

Exactly. Axle bolts are a 300 mile service part now.

Russell,
reckon you need to knock up some skid plates at work, maybe some 20mm x 3mm flat with a length of 20mm bar welded along one edge.
I fitted something similar on a race chassis once, after noticing that the bolt heads had worn wafer thin following rather a lot of contact with the rumble strips.

They'd extend the service interval considerably... ;)

Harry and I had a discussion about this the other week. I'm going to try and make something up at work from a bit of box section cut about a bit. The difficulty of course, is if you make the protection too thick, it impedes how low you can run.

Anyway, where are the pictures from Goodwood?
