I tend to carry more or less all my tools in the car all the time.

going back to topic

i carry all my tools everywhere anyway, as i find it easier just to carry them than to load and un load every day,,

but int he haynes manal it gives a list of all the 'essential' bolt sizes,

i personally would carry,

a 8mm, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 20,

i think they are the main ones, 13 normally does battery clamps, however some are 14mm..

oh and if you feel like taking your vent flap out at the side of the road, correct me if im wrong i think its a 5.5mm or a 6mm...

but im new to 2cv'ing so not sure what to carry myself so this is a healpful thread..

i do always carry

the essential spanners
volt meter (good to rule out elletrical problems)
duck tape
teng tools - 1/4 socket set plus screw driver set +2 big mole grips and small nose grips
bacho 3/8 socket set incl 3/8 plug wrench
eltrical tape,
side cutters,
jack
spare bulbs (there yellow but bulbs are bulbs)
spare plugs
going to invest in a spare coil
spare head lamp (the glass bit)
chocolate
pepsi

If you want to carry a Tool kit ,I would advise that when you do work on the car at home that you use the tool kit that you carry in the car. That way that the bent bicycle spoke that you use to undo the thingy on the whatsit is not left on the bench in the garage!
