 Exhaust clamps
I hate them. With a vengeance. Sparky's MOT's due. So I thought I'd better sort the blowing manifold-to-heat exchanger that I sorted before Giel. It's now worse than it was earlier. Arse. Anyway... These are the "Burton clamps", aren't they? Worth the extra dosh? £10 instead of £3 each.

 Re: Exhaust clamps
Just buy the ones ecas sell for £3. Clean any paste that bodgers have smeared all over it off, so you have a clean steel joint, smear of coppaslip, new clamps, job done. Leak free!

I'd happily pay £15 each for 'em! they make life soooooooo much easier & NO more annoying leaks. Quality bits of kit IMHO.

 Re: Exhaust clamps
These clamps seem to work very good. Haven't got them myself, but know guys who used them with great satisfaction. No leaks, no need to use paste or so.
10euro's @ burtoncar = 7,63pounds don't know how much the postage costs

 Re: Exhaust clamps
I bought my first set (5) at Waggel in 2009, i think i paid €40 as a special 'meeting price'. Money well spent!

 Re: Exhaust clamps
Fair enough, although I've never had a problem with the £3 clamps meself, those pricey ones do look pretty good. I seem to recall from having minis years ago that the early and hard to find cast clamps (very similar to the burton ones) were treated as gold dust.
