 Ami 6 Break
Hello I'm Will, got this Ami off John Rowe last summer; it's my first A Series, first Citroen! so they don't come much greener....however, i feel i recently served a decent chunk of my apprenticeship, as i had the front of the car off and engine/ box out for a box rebuild over the winter. shes' back on the road as of last week thanks to Rick Pembro and my mate Andy. can anybody give me a step by step guide to putting photos on here. i tried but it told me the message size was too big. it's about 5 or 6 jpegs....help a fool out!! cheers, will Edit: I've posted the pics you sent me ages ago Will, we should probably do a FAQ about posting pics...

That's a lovely looking car Will, have the seats been re-covered in the recent past? Mine are a cloth material and look really shabby, the red vinyl looks great.

Hello; I'm really not sure. they certainly aren't the originals. The guy I bought it off imported it in about 2005/6 from what i can tell. i should know more history but when i went to see and buy it i was so high on the whole thing that i forgot to ask.....there's a good chance someone on here will know more about the car than me!!! the driver's seat is tearing a bit on the seams....but the others are pretty spanking cheers now

 Re: Ami 6 Break
I love how you haven't just bought a D*lly or a late 2cv which is what most people new to A series cars buy, but you went out and got something cool and different! Are you bringing it to any meetings this year?
Thanks for joining, by the way, good to have you here!

Thanks for joining, by the way, good to have you here! it was a combination of just always loving the shape of the Ami 6 (before i even really new what it was - as a kid) and having a mate with a DS and a few A-Series; realising how relatively easy working on them.... was going to go to the farnham GS / Ami rally but it clashes with a holiday in provence.... check this beauty out, by the way http://cgi.ebay.fr/Citroen-AMI-6-break- ... 240%3A1318cheers now

That's a really smart looking Ami you've got there. I'm somewhat jealous of you and Russ with his Red Ami
