Yes, twice daily. But the gearlever, well, When i rewound the gearbox I noticed it had a harline crack down it's length about 4" long, i thought to myself 'thats obviously been like that for a while, it'll be ok for a while longer'. Which clearly, was wrong. I think the previous owner said he changed the gearbox because he was struggling to get it into gears, so I assume its fatigued from a flaw and gradually split over time, until I stuck it in first at a roundabout last night and yanked it off.

I wouldn't say that, Neils half right, the stick isn't the same as a RHD one, but it's certainly interchangeable.

bad times. isn't the van LHD? i didn't think LHD & RHD gear sticks were interchangable?

The only problem with a LHD stick and a right hooker occurs if you've got a Club type speedo, coz the stick gets too close to the speedo when you put it in fourth.

I wouldn't mind if some of the problems were my own fault, but nowt that's gone tits up on it has been foreseeable. I'm almost scared to drive it now.

Which bits?

The pulley's had it, the blades are all cracked on the fan and both the cooler pipes, and the matrix are holed spectacularly!
