This is my new barn-find project.

Dyane DAK fourgonette made in 1985 in Cimos factory, Koper (on the coast) Slovenia. One of the last made in that time.

This one was sitting in the farm for 20 years . Owner had this car only for driving to the local pub and for fishing trips. Was not road legal in all that time. Thanks to this fact it is in very good state. Chassis is perfect and engine is running OK. But the firewall is rusty. Originally it was white and sprayed in dark green by the last owner.
As I was looking for DAK last 14 years , when I found this one I decide immediately ... I must have it.

Roof rack is home made and it is not original...

Back lights are not original of DAK...

Now, I have to restore it as soon as possible...

Nice barn find, Do you plan to restore it to original?

I look forwads to seeing the restoration progress. Not least because of your skills as a restorer but also because it's a model I'm not familiar with.

Yes, I will restore it to original. It will be green. I will use it for my work , everyday use. So I will make furniture inside for tools . But on the other site, I will also use it for holidays and 2cv meetings so I will make other set of furniture for that purpose. Like a camping car.

As the front part of body - firewall and front roof is bad I will have to put ther another part. I have at home front part of dyane that is very good. I will take out the chassis and clean it and then body will go to my friend who will spray it separately. In the mean time I will repair and fix chassis and mechanical parts.

After MOT i will made a furniture...
