You can still find 652s in french scrappies, coming over in may?

You either want a 2cv that's already Visa'd, or a complete two-pot Visa.

BTW, there's about five of 'em left in the UK.

Plenty of Visa and LN machines here. Not legal to fit in 2cv's without Citroens approval and you won't get that.

A good 602 is better than an average 652, the 'big bore' conversion's not my cup of tea. Tight (many late boxes were/are) or sloppily rebuilt gearboxes are big power wasters and a good box can liberate more power than a bigger engine. Cheap chassis and cheap tyres waste power, too - but who can afford Michelins with the £ at such a low?

No, you can't modify engines even upgrading 435 to 602 without approval from Citroen. If you take the car to DRIRE for inspection they will ask for approval from Citroen France. Citroen do not believe that modification is needed so you don't get their approval.
