Bison TIX is what i use for the carpet on the outside. applie it on the two surfaces, let it dry for 20 minutes, put it in place in one time because it will never come loose again!

Having been drving the Red 2cv since. I really do need to soundproof the van. As it is RIDICULOUSLY LOUD!!! Any suggestions on what i could use?

I need bulkhead soundproofing and weather/ sound proofing on the whole interior of the van.

Check your local hardware store, they have various kinds of sound proofing there.

I used this kind:

Works good, dunno how it's holding up on the long term(moist and fungus etc.).

For your bonnet you can pre-cut isolation:

For attachment i would go with supercees, Bison TIX.

Cheers for that both. Ill definatly try the Bison Tix. Does anyone have any soundproofing on them? Or a pattern for the bulkhead? Rather than me going mental with the cutters.

I can do neat stuff you see. ;) It means i wont get me colouring hands dirty.

Maybe your charger is not working, batteries not able to receive the current or car is running on the currect from the battery if alternator is not charging.
Have you done a cell test?

Nope, not done no test, would this not be a lot too drain two full batterys? after a 20 minute run.

radio stuff on max?

From what i know of your install there is no way your alternator has enough amperage to charge the batteries and power the sound system. So if radio on, theres your answer :)

I hear you Max but yoú need to establish if the batteries are full. You assume that they are full.

It manages easily enough. Plus if radio was on, it would only drain the one battery, as other is isolated. So i dont look a dick when first battery drains.

Just taken one out and its now on charge.
