Of coursem if Jono had managed to get anywhere near your car before you set off, your boot handle would still be intact!

Actually, the boot handle on my Dad's old Charleston got snapped half, just like Sam's, when it was driven into by an Izuzu Trooper with bull bars and pushed into a Volvo Estate with a tow bar, in 1991. Luckily, it was low speed and the Charleston was fixed. Sadly, it did a better job of destroying itself a few years later when it succumbed to the rust fairy.

What cr***y luck for you. The green/white and red/white Dollys are my all time favourite 2CV colours and yours looks pretty good to me.

Cheers for that Paul, I do try and keep her nice - not always easy with a daily car. The driver's door's pretty terminal but I keep smothering her with Mer to protect her.

I got to be honest, I'm partial to G&W/R&W Dollys-they tend to need fewer cutting discs to dismember them! Oops, that sounded wrong didn't it?
